Unity 3D Expiring Error Message

  • Fall 2018 September

  • There's been reports that some Unity3d is giving the EXPIRED LICENSES error message.

  • We've created a script on each lab desktop that will help restore the Unity3d Educational license.

  • Follow the steps below.

    • Close Unity3d error message.
    • Double-click on the batch file - restore_unity_edu_license.bat on the desktop.
    • Close the black cmd prompt window.
    • Re-launch Unity3d.
    • Unity 3D should be registered under Educational license now.
